Junior Joey Scholarship Program
WCA is a progressive and professional organization with members who consistently wish to encourage our youth to enter into the beautiful world of family friendly clowning and other genres of family entertainment. Our junior joey program provides children, between the ages of 5-15 with exceptional and family safe training, tips and performance provided by our advanced and master clown teachers during our annual convention each year.
We cannot express how important it is to us that we pass down the tradition of family friendly clowning to our new generations and hope that this beautiful art form of laughter and good will can spread to our younger generations.
Our Junior Joey Director is always available for questions and suggestions. We are now offering up to five or more scholarships (depending on our scholarship funding provided for Junior Joeys) each year to parents/children who apply for scholarships on this website by the deadline of January 15. Junior Joeys may submit each year even if they have received scholarships in the past. If we get more submissions than we can provide for any given year, a committee will choose the winners for the scholarship for that year based on the information provided in the application.
