The quality of the WCA international convention and professionalism is extraordinary. One of the goals of many clowns is to learn a range of skills to apply within their clown characters.
There are clowns who are puppeteers, and jugglers. There are magic clowns, ventriloquists, storytellers, balloon artists and physical comedians.

Some clowns are road-worthy circus arts performers with even more skills such as unicycling, and stilt walking.

WCA clowns are diverse family show entertainers and we employ all the skills we enjoy in order to bring joy to our audiences. We strive to be better clowns—and people.

Whatever your focus, you’ll find world-class instructors at the 2022 World Clown Convention.

At our 2022 convention we will learn a lot from our three featured performers and be inspired to fully develop our characters with even more skills.

Mr. Puppet is a rock star status puppeteer. Every clown can learn from his classes and the nuances of comedy, timing, and presentation.

Karen Hoyer is a clown, mime, puppeteer, performer and teacher. She’s also worked with the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit.

Angel Ocasio is a Ringling Brothers clown College graduate and a featured funny performer. Angel is a juggler, physical comedian, ukulele star, and all round hilarious character.
