Scholarship

      The World Clown Association offers 3 different Educational
             Scholarships to further your clowning experience.

All scholarships must be applied for online and will be dated as received. You can only
apply for one scholarship in any given year (Bo-Dino or Blab-I-Gail).

The Bo-Dino Scholarship was the very first scholarship program established for
clowns. Applicants must be a WCA member in good standing for the last two years. The
scholarship is for qualified educational programs which are listed under guidelines.
Deadline for applying for this scholarship is 11/1.

The Blab-I-Gail Memorial Scholarship is available to all WCA members. Recipients
must use this scholarship to attend the upcoming World Clown Association Convention
within the year receiving the award. Deadline for applying for this scholarship is 11/1.

The Youth Arts Scholarship encourages youth to experience a WCA convention by
providing free registration plus up to $300 for housing, travel and food expenses.
Current membership in WCA is NOT required, however, you must be active or have
been active within the past 24 months in a theatre/circus arts program. Deadline for
applying for this scholarship is 1/15 of the convention year.

Convention auction: It is never too early to start thinking about our auction at
convention. Remember the proceeds are used for the scholarships we
give out to deserving clowns. Check your wardrobe for outfits you
do not wear anymore or simply wish to donate. Accessories to the
outfits are always welcomed as are books and figurines. Please
remember only usable items will be accepted.
