settled into the Indian River Colony Club. This is a
military community, made up of about 80% retirees.
It wasn’t long before Joe became known as Joe
Bingo the clown. He became an active member of Cart
Barn and joined their clown group. This group mostly
ushered at plays. While in this group he met LuLU
a.k.a Louise Carnesale. They decided to form Colony
Clowns,Inc. where Joe served as Vice President and
director until he passed.
Joe Bingo traveled with LuLU attending as many
schools, conventions, and competitions as possible.
They won medals at SECA and COAI. Colony Clowns,
Inc. grew to be an active strong alley thanks to Joe
Bingo and the other directors who led the group. Joe
became the balloon and puppet expert within Colony
Clowns.
