A Note From Your President

SUNSHINE and SCALIWAGS
(SCALAWAGS TOO :) It seems
unreal that March is quickly
pushing upon us. How can
this be? Has a year already
passed since our convention in
Orlando last year? We are so
excited about the lineup for this
year’s gathering. Sunshine and
Scaliwags is our theme, so watch for pirates and parrots and clowny, sea-
bearing mischief! Our headliners are coming all the way from Missouri
and bring international recognition. Not only are they professional
pirates and sword fighting scalawags, they both boast a tremendous bio
including published books, improv expertise and entertaining shows. We
are honored to have them. Make sure you stop by and say hi and get a
photo with these amazing pirates, Tim Williams “Captain Scalawag” and
Mary DeMichele “Mahem Marnie.”
As usual, we are gearing up for our fabulous WCA members with
competitions, classes, jams, parties, hospitality rooms and everything else
under the beautiful Florida sun. One advantage of making the decision to
stay in sunny Florida is - no snow! The roads should be clear and ready
for you!
If you haven’t signed up, there is still time. Please register and don’t
forget to come see me and say hello and get a hug. Thank you for
everything you do for our world…thank you for being a part of this
